Donau Vintage is a curated vintage project located in Vienna, Europe ran by a professional photographer and a vintage lover Sasha. This is me, hello! 

I love vintage bags and romantic dresses. Vintage is part of my daily style and I would love to help you find something unique that will be a source of joy and inspiration to you. I get excited about designer rare vintage items or things that are very intricately made. I have a special fondness for handmade cardigan, this is a part of the traditional Austrian outfit and such a cardigan can store a universe of meanings and signs.

Crocodile leather bags have a special place in my collection. I support sensible ethical consumption and I think we should look to the past when exotic skins such as snake, alligator or crocodile were widely used, instead of buying questionable products from companies whose ethical treatment of living beings is debatable.

Back then, in Europe, such bags emphasized the status of the owner and were desirable and expensive items. Many of them are well preserved. I collect my collection very carefully. Buying in Donau Vintage you can be sure that you will not buy a fake. I always indicate in the listing whether it is real crocodile skin or embossed skin.
